Our client, a leading insurance firm, is seeking a Global Head of Claims to lead their claims strategy and oversight across multiple regions.
This role requires an experienced leader with extensive insurance expertise and a proven track record in claims management.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop a global claims strategy that aligns with growth objectives and fosters a culture of excellence and innovation
- Design and implement best-in-class claims processes across all jurisdictions, ensuring robust oversight mechanisms for Third Party Administrators (TPAs) worldwide
- Collaborate with actuarial and underwriting teams to optimise loss ratios, drive profitability, and manage the global claims budget
- Spearhead the adoption of cutting-edge claims technologies, enhancing operational efficiency and decision-making on a global scale
- Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory requirements while building strong relationships with regulators and stakeholders
Your skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
- Extensive experience in P&C insurance claims management, with significant international exposure and experience in senior leadership roles
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams across diverse cultures and regions
- Expertise in leveraging data analytics and technology to drive claims performance
- Strong understanding of the hybrid insurance model and experience with MGAs and TPAs globally
- In-depth knowledge of insurance regulations in the US and UK, with success in implementing technology and process improvements
- Excellent leadership and strategic thinking skills, with expertise in data analytics to enhance claims performance; willingness to travel internationally as needed
- Strong strategic thinking and advanced financial management skills
- Expertise in data analytics and predictive modeling for actionable insights
