We're looking for an experienced CAD Engineer with an Engineering/Fabrication background to join our client, a growing Engineering Company in Barnsley.
The successful CAD Engineer will be tasked with handling projects and ensuring all customer requirements are met. You will ensure 2D & 3D drawings are drawn to specification and work with procurement and the business to ensure stock levels are maintained.

As CAD Engineer, you will:
- Have 2D AutoCAD & 3D Inventor experience
- Use Procut CAD/CAM software or similar software
- Liaise with customers around design & queries
- Excellent communication with colleagues & customers
- Perform tasks in line with Health & Safety and Quality Standards.
- Have Continuous Improvement experience.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- AutoCAD experience (Essential)
- Solidworks or Inventor experience (Desirable)
- Degree or equivalent in Engineering (HND / HNC)
- An Engineering / Fabrication background
- Experience collaborating with a variety of different teams to ensure success
Our client offers:
- Salary: up to £35,000 a year
- 37.5hr week with early finish Friday
