Supply Chain Data Analyst

Kettering

Hours - Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs

Salary - £35k plus benefits

Our established, and well known company, are recruiting a Supply Chain Data Analyst on a permanent basis to improve the efficiency of supply chain operations through data collection and analysis. The position requires excellent attention to detail, in-depth understanding of the delivery process and exceptional analytics skills.

Main duties and responsibilities:-

  • Collect data on supply chain operations.
  • Analyse data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency.
  • Develop periodic performance reports and distribute them to stakeholders .
  • Establish and maintain relationships with shippers and suppliers.
  • Investigate issues, find root causes, and develop and implement solutions .
  • Measure supplier performance and report to management.
  • Provide excellent communication throughout the business at all levels .
  • Maintaining professional relationships with suppliers, acting as representatives of the company to promote a positive image.
  • Establish and maintain relationship with internal departments.
  • Enter and/or edit the product item master data in the system.
  • Build relationships and proactively updates progress to stakeholders for product launch/discontinuations/issues.
  • Develop a production schedule detailing all tasks and when they should be completed by to meet predicted completion date.
  • Maintain accuracy of all data entry and updates
  • Proactively communicate with suppliers or other stakeholders to collect timely data.
  • Maintain and analyse supplier pricing, compare trends to previous periods, determine the cause for decrease or increase and report data to decision-makers.

About you ...

  • Implementation and change management
  • Manufacturing and inventory demand planning
  • RP system - super user (i.e SAP etc)
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP applications, BI, data structures and processes relating to the supply chain
  • Able to create KPI's and dashboards to measure and control key processes
  • Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of supply chain processes and their impact on the wider business
  • Good commercial acumen with customer service experience
  • Ability to communicate internally with peers and managers through email and presentations
  • Experience of managing overseas suppliers and commercial processes (Asia & USA)
  • Advanced Microsoft user, in particular Excel (essential)
  • Experience in export/import documentation (preferable but not essential)

You will possess a customer centric approach, be a proactive individual and be an excellent communicator at all levels. Experience within a supply chain function and handling large amounts of data are essential.
