We have an exciting opportunity for new Team Leaders to work within our Work and Wellbeing team.

The successful candidates will lead our teams working on employment services within South Yorkshire.

More about the role:

The Team Leader will report to the Head of Work & Wellbeing, and lead a small team of Employment Specialists. The focus of the role is to:

  • Lead a team to successfully deliver IPS or other model of employment support within South Yorkshire.
  • Lead a highly effective team of Employment Specialists to provide positive and sustained employment outcomes for our customers in line with their job preferences
  • Deliver a high-quality service in line with the IPS or other employment model
  • Provide effective operational oversight to the team
  • Work collaboratively with partners, employers and other stakeholders to enhance service delivery and achieve better outcomes for our customers.

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Excellent understanding of employment support.
  • The ability to drive improvement through focused performance management.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and inspire others.
  • Ability to build relationships with a wide range of people and stakeholders.
  • A non-judgemental approach with a genuine belief that people with a health condition or experiencing disadvantage can find paid employment.
  • A positive mindset, able to handle setbacks and challenges, and a commitment to working in a strengths-based way.
  • Be willing to work across South Yorkshire as required.
