Nursing Home Manager

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of a luxury nursing home for older adults. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our elderly residents while maintaining a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse Qualification (desirable)
  • Previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager within the elderly care sector, with a proven track record of successful leadership and management
  • Thorough understanding of CQC (Care Quality Commission) regulations and standards
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • A commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the nursing home environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and engage with residents, families, and stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring all residents receive high-quality care and support in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Manage and lead a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, families, and residents to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Maintain open and effective communication with staff, residents, families, and stakeholders
  • Ensure the nursing home meets all regulatory requirements and maintains a safe and inclusive environment for all residents and staff
  • Manage the financial aspects of the nursing home, including budgeting, purchasing, and resource allocation
  • Continuously assess and improve the quality of care and services provided, implementing best practices and quality improvement initiatives
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equality, and inclusion within the nursing home, promoting a supportive and respectful environment for all residents and staff
