- *Job Description:**
We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and collecting materials to our clients while adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle to transport goods to specified locations.
- Conduct pre-departure vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper securing of items.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle mileage.
- Ensure compliance with road regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and clients.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- *Qualifications:**
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving license.
- Be prepared to submit / pass a DBS check
- Previous experience as a Class 2 driver preferred.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and logistics.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to handle loading/unloading tasks.
