Are you a HR process expert who loves challenging current ways of working and driving continuous improvement across an established workforce?

Do you have experience leading a team of HR & Payroll admins? Supporting their development and upskilling junior professionals?

I am currently working with an innovative organisation to source a People Services Manager role. You will be leading a HR & Payroll team that provide transactional HR support to c2000 employees globally.

This role will be supporting the organisation across a broad remit, looking after transactional HR and Payroll activity for the business, as well as managing people data, policies and procedural changes, Reward, ED&I and TUPE administration. Whilst they are an established business, they are absolutely open to innovation and new ideas and genuinely have an appetite to drive change and ensure they are operating and using the HRIS is as efficiently and effective as possible, whilst providing a brilliant customer journey to the employee.

You will be working with other departments across the organisation to train and upskill them on HR best practice and encourage them to have the autonomy to deliver their own HR duties around recruitment and the onboarding experience. This team truly are the internal customer service team that provide the rest of the business with guidance and support to manage their own people changes.

So, to summarise, what's the role?

  • Leading a transactional HR & Payroll team, supporting employees globally
  • Full accountability for the HRIS and people data
  • Accountability for 9 different internal payrolls
  • Working with the technology team to build people dashboards, deciding on key people metrics that will support day to day management of teams and feed into the wider people plan
  • Designing and delivering training to the wider business on HR best practice and processes
  • Redesigning internal processes to create simpler and more efficient ways of working
  • Full accountability for HR compliance and GDPR processes
  • Supporting on internal and external audits, providing people data as and where needed
  • Deliver on a range of administrative HR duties for TUPE, Pension, Benefits etc.
  • Delivering a first class customer service to employees
