Role: Year 3 Learning Support Assistant Location: Dukinfield, Tameside Type: Part-time
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Year 3 class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
- Support students with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) to access the curriculum.
- Collaborate with the teacher to plan and prepare resources for lessons and activities.
- Foster a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere to facilitate students' personal and academic growth.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting preferred.
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with children and helping them succeed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare is desirable.
