Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Family Practitioner for a Local Authority Client based in East London.

In this role, you will manage a caseload of families, providing tailored support and interventions to address their needs and promote positive, sustainable changes.

About the role:

You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:

  • Oversee a caseload of families, ensuring effective and meaningful involvement to improve outcomes.
  • Create, implement, and review individual and family support plans to address needs and achieve desired changes.
  • Carry out comprehensive assessments in partnership with families and agencies to identify needs and plan intervention.
  • Establish intervention, prevention, and enforcement measures to reduce negative behaviours and support family change.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with statutory and voluntary agencies to support families effectively.

About you:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

  • Experience working with parents and families, particularly those with complex needs.
  • Experience conducting complex assessments and managing statutory responsibilities related to child and family services.
  • Ability to implement intervention and prevention measures to address crises and promote positive changes.
  • Experience in developing and coordinating outreach services, including one-to-one support and group work.

What's on offer:

Salary: £17.50+ph

  • may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*

Contract type: 6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Monday - Friday, 36 hours per week
