On offer is an exciting chance to join a multi-disciplinary practice with diverse projects in highways, public spaces, schools, hospitals, green infrastructure, renewable energy, rural land management, and wildlife conservation. This team works on various ecology projects across Wales, SW England, and Worcestershire, conducting a range of ecological surveys, appraisals, and impact assessments.
In this role, you will use your expertise to conduct and oversee ecological surveys, mitigation, and monitoring. You will liaise with authorities, manage projects, attend client and stakeholder meetings, assist with bid production, and develop best practices.
This role suits a proactive ecologist with a drive to make a real difference in a growing consultancy. You should be skilled at managing projects and working within multi-disciplinary teams.
The Role:
- Managing and undertaking ecological surveys, mitigation, and monitoring
- Liaising with statutory authorities and stakeholders
- Managing projects, including attending meetings and producing bids
The Person:
- Keen to progress to associate director
- Proficient in ecological principles, legislation, survey techniques, and GIS software
- Local to the South West, Wales and Worcestershire
