Our client, a successful and expanding company based in the South East area, is seeking to recruit an experienced Process Engineer to join their manufacturing department. The role involves applying procedures and maintaining records in compliance with cGMP, ISO9001, and ISO14001 operating standards. It also includes commissioning and validating new manufacturing plants and introducing new commercial products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and operational support for daily production operations and troubleshooting.
- Monitor performance daily to ensure the process is controlled and operating safely.
- Conduct analysis to improve the performance of assigned process segments, focusing on safety, cost, throughput, and expansion.
- Offer technical support to technicians.
- Translate process improvement concepts into workable manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a BSc in Chemical Engineering, BEng, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology or related manufacturing industries.
- Proven ability to manage both short- and long-term projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage data with a high degree of accuracy.
- Exposure to Six Sigma processes.
