Finance Officer- 12-month Fixed Term Contract- £28,000- £32,000 per annum
Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-known NI Organisation, based in Belfast. Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. This role will be for a period of 12 months, and the successful applicant will be responsible for completing the following duties:
- Manage the day-to-day finance function of the organisation
- Maintain the purchase order, invoicing, and payment systems and processes
- Maintain the sales ledger, consulting with other teams to ensure accuracy of invoicing and receipts information on all IT systems, including processing of invoices and receipts. Reconciling data from differing sources to ensure consistency of data
- Processing payroll
- Source potential suppliers for goods/services provided and prepare concise reports to enable effective decision making
- Preparing reconciliations of all bank/credit card accounts for review and approval
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
- Reconcile Creditor & Debtors accounts
- Prepare quarterly cash projection reports
Essential
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience of using Sage accounts package
- Proficient in the use of Excel and Word
- Experience in the preparation of short reports which include recommendations
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with Suppliers, Staff and other Stakeholders
- Experience in cost effective purchasing
