Business Development Recruiter

  • Annual Salary: £40,000 pro rata

  • Job Type: Part-Time, 6-month Fixed Term Contract
  • Working Hours: 21 hours per week (flexible on days/times)

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to work in a busy recruitment team specialising in permanent roles. You will join a small, dynamic team at a world-renowned art college in the King's Cross area. This role is ideal for a self-starter with confidence in business development and a proactive approach to student recruitment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Engage in business development activities to recruit students into permanent roles.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external managers across various departments.
  • Conduct speculative outreach, including emails and calls, to place candidates effectively.
  • Utilise CV stripping and other recruitment techniques to identify potential candidates.
  • Work independently and adapt to the needs of different departments and managers.
  • Offer flexibility in working hours and location, with the possibility of hybrid working.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous recruitment experience, preferably in headhunting or agency work.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to candidate placement.
  • Adaptable personality to effectively interact with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work flexibly as per business needs.
