Spencer Clarke Group are seeking an ASC Placement Officer for a Local Authority Client based in North London.
In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and securing high-quality care services that meet residents' needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to contract requirements.
About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:
- Identify and arrange cost-effective care services based on individual assessments by key workers.
- Issue, manage, and terminate individual service contracts and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with council policies.
- Work closely with care management teams, external providers, and other stakeholders to implement and update individual support plans.
- Accurately update placement and support information on the Mosaic system, supporting financial reporting and service planning.
About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
- Experience working within a social care environment.
- Experience in managing service contracts, including issuing, negotiating, and terminating contracts with care providers.
- Familiarity with social care legislation, regulations, and statutory bodies such as the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
- Ability to calculate and negotiate fair prices for services within council policy boundaries, considering residents' financial situations.
What's on offer:
Salary: £19+ph
- may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
