Residential Property Lawyer/Conveyancer

We have an excellent opportunity for a full time Property Lawyer/Conveyancer to join our modern firm's Residential Property department. Day to day you will be expected to advise on a variety of Residential Conveyancing matters.

This role also provides ample opportunity for candidates looking for career progression into a supervisory role with particular focus on management and supervision of junior employees in the department.

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and advantageous individual who enjoys engaging in business development and will support the growth of the department and firm. The successful candidate will work as part of a friendly, supportive, and approachable team.

Residential Property Lawyer/Conveyancer

Job Responsibilities:

  • Able to effectively manage your own caseload using the case management system,
  • Advising on a variety of Property matters including New Builds, Leasehold and Shared Ownership,
  • Develop new and existing caseloads in matters of Residential Property,
  • Assist the Head of Department with supervising and training junior employees in the Residential Property department,
  • Drafting legal documentation whilst complying with relevant case law and SRA/CQS regulations,
  • Provide excellent client care in line with our Company standards,
  • Build strong client relationships with new and existing clients.

Residential Property Lawyer/Conveyancer

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years+ PQE (Post Qualification Experience),
  • Highly organised and precise attention to detail,
  • Experience with MS office applications,
  • Ability to work under pressure and retain high levels of confidentiality at all times,
  • Proven internal and external communication skills,
  • Offer sound legal advice to a diverse client base,
  • Experience using case management and legal systems,
  • Maintain your continuing professional development requirements,
  • Work in a collaborative manner within the team and wider firm,
  • Have a positive approach and strong work ethic.
