Salary: £90-£120 per day
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:15 - 15:30
Are you an enthusiastic English Language graduate looking to make a positive impact in the classroom? We are seeking a dedicated Cover Teacher to join our dynamic team at Veritas Education working in secondary schools in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain valuable teaching experience in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
- Support students' learning and development by creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the varying needs and abilities of students.
- Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies and promote a safe learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of education for all students.
Requirements:
- A degree in English Language or a related field.
- Passion for education and working with young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is desirable but not essential.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom settings.
