Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Doncaster area as they look to recruit an Assistant Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Posting Journals
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Supporting with purchase ledger when needed
- Bank reconciliations
- Maintaining the fixed asset register and capex management
- Nominal ledger reconciliations
- Supporting with the audit
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Ad-hoc duties and reporting as required
Person Specification:
- Ideally recently qualified AAT or Finance / Accounting Graduate
- Sound experience in an all-round accounts role and someone driven for a next step in their career in a role where they can develop over time
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with limited supervision; to make decisions and use own initiative
- Ability to demonstrate strong IT skills including Excel
- Excellent listening skills
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and to manage a number of activities at any one time
