Milk Education Surrey is looking to recruit an experienced and compassionate SEN Teacher to work alongside some of the brilliant schools we work with in Frimley**.**
**Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.
- Work closely with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and other teaching staff to create tailored learning plans and strategies.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with various learning difficulties, including but not limited to dyslexia, autism, and ADHD.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with external professionals (e.g., educational psychologists, speech therapists) to ensure the best outcomes for students.
**The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience in special educational needs.
- Strong understanding of SEN provisions and a passion for inclusive education.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
- Patient, empathetic, and dedicated to helping students overcome barriers to learning.
- Experience with creating and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) is desirable.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
