Trade Counter Assistant
Salary: Competitive based on experience
F/T 38.5-43 hours pw (including Saturday Mornings)

The Candidate
Possessing some plumbing knowledge would be advantageous but not essential and need to be able to demonstrate that they have the strength of personality and flexibility required to support the growth and success of the business. o
A positive, proactive individual with strong customer service skills is essential, as is the ability to work as part of a small team or independently, using their initiative as required.
Deliveries will be required, and therefore a full driving licence will be required.
The Trade Counter Assistant should have good computer skills and must also be willing to learn and expand on their product knowledge.
Main Duties and responsibilities:
The successful candidate will play an integral role within the business, and will have exposure to, and involvement with all aspects of the daily running of a successful Plumbers Merchants.
The role will involve assisting both trade customers and the general public with all general queries, both customer facing and by telephone. You will also be required to unload deliveries, replenish stock, support with deliveries and process cash and card transactions.
