Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Class 1 (LGV C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently, following all road safety regulations.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects.
- Transport goods to designated locations as per delivery schedule.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring they are safely secured and handled with care.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle logs.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding any delays or issues.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (LGV C+E) driving license.
- CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph card.
- Previous experience as a Class 1 Driver is preferred.
- Good understanding of UK road regulations.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
