Due to an increase in demand we are now seeking a Loading Bay Operative to join our team in Bicester to ensure our UK stock of raw material and customer orders are moved within the Warehouse & Production area as per our Professional Services & Warehouse Manager requests.
Shift pattern
Monday - Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm
The day to day deliverables will include ..
- Loading/unloading delivery vehicles.
- Checking for damaged or missing items, sorting stock for storage within the Warehouse, and logging all stock into the SAP internal WMS.
- Creating carrier labels once orders are accurately picked using a hand- held RF scanner and transporting them to the loading bay for despatch.
- Ensuring orders are packaged, wrapped and labelled correctly to prevent any returned or damaged orders.
- Ensuring the Warehouse/Loading Bay is tidy and safe from hazards.
- Supporting the Team Leader with additional tasks when required while following all workplace H&S rules, HPO and Lean principals
To be successful in this role, you will ..
- Have prior experience within a Warehouse environment
- Counterbalance, Reach or Pallet Stacker (in date)
- Be computer literate in either SAP or similar WMS.
- Have a keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy, required for stock management tasks.
- You will have excellent communication skills in order to work closely with additional internal departments within BRITA.
