As a Gardening Assistant, you will support our gardening team in maintaining and enhancing gardens and landscapes. Your role will involve a variety of tasks, from planting and pruning to lawn maintenance and general garden care.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:00am - 18:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planting new flowers, shrubs, and trees, and pruning existing plants to promote healthy growth.
- Unload, inspect, and process incoming shipments of products, verifying quantities and quality.
- Maintain garden pathways, clear debris, and ensure overall tidiness of garden areas.
- Properly use and maintain gardening tools and equipment, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in gardening or landscaping is preferred but not essential.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
