Description
As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing and populating Sage 50, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Driving system improvements to ensure a clean audit and clear reporting processes.
- Managing high-level corporate reporting, including fleet management, cost analysis, and how these interact with financial performance.
- Supporting ongoing audit preparations, with a focus on ensuring everything is audit-ready within the next three months.
- Business partnering with key stakeholders across departments to understand the business in-depth and provide actionable insights.
- Handling accrued income, debits and credits, and complex reconciliations.
- Enhancing financial frameworks and processes while mentoring a small team of three.
Profile
The ideal candidate will be:
- ACCA Qualified with strong technical knowledge, particularly in high-level reporting.
- Hands-on, with the ability to "hit the ground running" and provide immediate support.
- An excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially astute, with a strategic mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- A quick thinker, able to manage competing priorities while maintaining high accuracy.
- Excel expertise is a must - candidates will be tested during the recruitment process.
- Solution-oriented and proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements.
