Our Client is a fast growing multi sector speciality distributor of chemicals and raw materials to the UK Manufacturing Industry.
They are now seeking a Marketing Communications Executive . This position is a hybrid role and will be part office based in Redditch, Worcestershire and part home based. It is a full-time permanent role.
Job Purpose
- This role will provide support to the (MI&C) Market Insights and Communications Manager and overall Market Insights and Communications department
- Working as a crucial part of the company, the Marketing Communications Executive will support in the creation and implementation of delivering the B2B and occasional B2C marketing strategy
Key Responsibilities
- Work with key stakeholders within each company division to plan and create highly engaging integrated marketing campaign content including e-mails, LinkedIn content (posts, blogs, articles), sales tool kits including PowerPoint presentations, website development and content, advertisements and articles, and other promotional content as required
- To plan and develop the new company website, working with a 3rd party web agency and wider MI&C team
- Plan and deliver digital marketing campaigns continually reviewing and improving campaign effectiveness and lead generation
- Fact-checking, copy-editing, copy proofing, and formatting of content ensuring that all appropriate sign off processes are completed in time, in line with briefs and within brand guidelines
- Co-ordination of monthly marketing plans with aligned management of NetSuite email campaigns (CRM), websites and social media platforms
- Assist in planning and executing promotional events managed and attended by our Client (exhibitions, conferences and trade events)
- Organise and analyse ROI and KPI reporting on marketing campaigns alongside MI&C Manager
Qualifications and Experience
- BA in Marketing, Business or a relevant field is a strong advantage
- Proven experience as a marketing communications generalist within a B2B environment.
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Ability to work off your own initiative and take ownership of marketing projects.
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task, organise your own workload and adhere to deadlines is key
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and social media channels
- Experience of using marketing analytical tools e.g. Google Analytics
- Experience of search engine optimisation and search engine marketing
- Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite (predominantly InDesign and Photoshop) and Canva to create graphics
- Excellent copy writing skills
- Experience of using customer relationship management systems (CRM)
- Experience of using a content management system (CMS) for website development and management
- Experience of some event planning and organization
- HTML experience is beneficial but not essential
In return, our Client is offering a basic salary of up to £30,000 per annum, (salary is negotiable and dependent on experience), plus benefits.
