I am working with a fast-paced FMCG company who are looking to recruit an Operations Coordinator to join our team
The purpose of the Operations Coordinator is to ensure customer requirements are met, this role involves providing excellent customer service, managing sales contracts, and maintaining the flow of information between supply chain and customers.
Day to Day of the role as an Operations Coordinator:
- Manage the execution and administration of sales contracts.
- Book transport to meet delivery dates
- Negotiate with logistical service providers for competitive transportation rates.
- Invoice orders in alignment with sales contracts and company compliance.
- Prepare shipping documents, including export documentation.
- Collaborate with the operations team to dispatch orders on time.
- Serve as the point of contact for customers placing orders.
- Process urgent order requests and manage stock holdings.
- Handle sample order processing and dispatching.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Operations Coordinator:
- Excellent commercial communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in learning new CRM systems and advanced numeracy skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload.
- High standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Advanced level of proficiency in MS Excel.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment and experience sorting issues with in-house operations.
- FMCG or manufacturing experience is preferred.
