Job Summary:
Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Teaching Assistant to join our team in Hassocks. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to support students with their learning and development, particularly those with additional educational needs. You will help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, assist with lesson preparation, and provide one-on-one or small group support to students. A passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their potential are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Monitor and report on student progress.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role or working with children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and empathetic approach to student support.
- Relevant qualifications or a willingness to undertake training.
- Have a DBS on the update service or willing to pay £45 for one.
- Driving licence
