Credit Controller

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Controller to join our finance team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and collecting outstanding debts, thereby reducing their financial risk.
Day to Day of the role:
- Ensure timely payments are made by processing incoming funds, reconciling invoices, and resolving account queries.
- Manage debt recovery efficiently and effectively.
- Build and maintain close relationships with all customers to ensure accounts run smoothly and payments are received promptly.
- Communicate with customers through various channels including telephone, email, and letters.
- Negotiate repayment plans with customers who are unable to pay their debts in full.
- Maintain compliance with legal regulations in all transactions and debt collection activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in credit control.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong numeracy and organisational skills.
