CMA HR Division is recruiting for an established brand in Southampton, Hampshire for a HR Business Partner on a fixed term contract. The role is initially 6 months with a view to become more long term in the structure.

The role provides Employee Relations support across the business supporting the Senior HR Business Partners and leading on caseload management and Generalist tasks.

What will HR Business Partner role involve?

  • Provide support and expert advice to line managers and leaders in respect of people management issues, mitigating commercial risk and seeking a timely resolution
  • Apply sound people management practices to develop and guide managers with the aim of building management capability
  • Regularly report on key employment cases to management and escalate complex, high risk issues as appropriate
  • Support managers to identify skills and capabilities they need to deliver current and future needs, regularly conducted talent reviews and work closely with the Resourcing Partner on talent and resourcing requirements
  • Ensure diversity and inclusion considerations are embedded in the development of people solutions and actions
  • Participate in Group-wide projects that support the design and implementation of people solutions and employment framework

Suitable Candidate for HR Business Partner vacancy:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of employment law, core HR and experience of employment relations case management
  • Happy to work autonomously reacting to issues promptly as they arise to reduce impact and avoid business risk
  • Confident to challenge decision making in a constructive manner
