We are looking for a proven manager that can demonstrate the required skills to lead our therapeutic delivery in Liverpool.

In Liverpool the Forward Trust deliver the SHARP day rehab programme. We also run the Brink which offers an opportunity for individuals with addiction problems a discrete way of seeking help. At the Brink we offer the Brink of Change programme, AD-PASS counselling and the M-PACT programme.

What you will be doing

You will be responsible for the operational management of the SHARP programme and all the commissioned and funded therapeutic services that operate from the Brink building. You will be reporting on the successes of the service and developing plans to drive the service forward.

You will be

  • Contribute to solving strategic challenges to continually develop the service and to meet Forward Trust's business plan
  • Line managing Team Leaders and Lead Practitioners within your Service.
  • Developing and advancing relationships with all stakeholders and partners
  • Producing performance reports for commissioners and attending contract meetings.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring data accurately reflects output and is submitted within set deadlines which includes ensuring services are audit compliant.

This role is based across SHARP and the Brink which are a 10-minute walk apart.

What we are looking for

  • A commitment to the aims, ethos and objectives of The Forward Trust, including commitment to 12 step interventions and treatment approaches
  • A thorough understanding of the requirements of providing drug and alcohol services in the community, including psychosocial interventions and community provision
  • A proven track record of managing and developing teams and implementing service improvements
  • Demonstrable in the successful and effective management of people and performance, with evidence-based, tangible outcomes.
  • Demonstrable ability to effectively lead and motivate teams, including through change processes.
  • Be adept at reporting complex data and collating reports for the stakeholders and the Senior Management Team.
  • Experience of collaborating with other services and aligning those services to achieve the common goal.
  • Demonstrable ability to effectively lead and motivate teams, including through change processes.
  • Experience of supervising staff to enhance their skills and enable them to work effectively.
  • Understanding of the voluntary sector.
  • Working knowledge of using Microsoft office packages and the use of database monitoring systems.
