We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join a friendly and dynamic Quality Control Laboratory based in Middlesbrough.

What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, your duties will include:
- Analysis of raw materials and finished products.
- Maintaining and calibration of Laboratory Equipment.
- Completion of analytical records in accordance with company procedures.
- Cover for colleagues during holiday/sickness periods.
- Undertake as necessary any other relevant and associated tasks or projects.
Your background...
Must have...
- Chemistry or closely related science degree.
- Effective team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic with a "can-do "attitude.
Nice to have...
- Laboratory Experience.
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload, work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Good level of knowledge of Microsoft packages especially Excel and Word.
