Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Assistant to support our client's operations as they expand into the UK market. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth transition and efficient management of the supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with import and customs-related queries.
  • Assist with stock levels control.
  • Preparation of reports and analysis of transport companies ‘price lists'
  • Control and recording of all shipping costs; analysis of shipments and data
  • Assisting in issuance of all shipping documents (shipping notes, invoices, credit) and customs documents
  • Communication with freight forwarders and customs brokers during the whole procedure of the shipment; monitoring and updating ETA's for incoming shipments
  • Uploading of transportation expenses inside ERP system
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and third parties
  • Working closely with warehouse operations team to ensure efficiency and smooth running.
  • Acting quickly resolving customer order queries, errors, amendments and additions to outbound sales orders.
  • Management of Booking in deliveries with Customers in a timely manner whilst building relationships with our customers goods in teams.
  • Management of GRN data and archives.
  • Responsible for providing POD's on request to sales and/or customers.

Experience & Required Skills:

  • Knowledge in using SAP, MS Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience in warehouse operations.
  • Capable of working independently under minimum supervision
  • Background in Finance or Logistics
  • Shipping experience (import/export)
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Good attention to detail / reporting skills
  • Open minded and flexible approach
