We are looking for a proactive Credit Controller to manage receivable accounts and ensure timely payment of sales invoices. The role involves close collaboration with account managers and customers to resolve payment delays and maintain positive relationships.

Day to day of the role:

  • Review the receivable ledger daily to monitor account statuses.
  • Follow up on outstanding payment requests.
  • Import and reconcile information between Navision and SAP accounting systems.
  • Allocate incoming payments to receivable accounts in SAP.
  • Handle daily sales invoicing from Navision.
  • Chase debts by sending statements, making reminder calls, and sending emails.
  • Input invoices onto customer portals to facilitate timely payment.
  • Resolve all customer queries promptly and efficiently.
  • Perform all associated administrative tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to build strong rapport with both internal and external customers.
  • Organised, forward-thinking, and strong administration skills.
  • Methodical and meticulous approach to tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think on the spot.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to display effective teamwork.
  • Willingness to travel to the Northampton office as required (potentially monthly).

Experience:

  • Proven track record within a credit control role.
