Deep Sea Freight Exporter
Bradford nr Shipley - up to £30,000 depending on experience (negotiable)
I'm very pleased to be working with a growing UK freight forwarder based near to Shipley in West Yorkshire. They need someone in their Deep Sea Department to manage their exports.

The main responsibilities of the Deep Sea Freight Forwarder are:-
- Sea exports mainly
- some cross-trades, airfreight etc.
- Liaising with clients and agents
- Speaking with drivers
- Dealing with third party logistics (3PL)
- Getting quotes and ensuring that a balance is met both getting the best price whilst making a profit
- Experience of MultiFreight would be an advantage although CargoWise is also acceptable
The ideal Freight Forwarder would meet the following criteria:-
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle customs regulations and documentation
- Experience in coordinating international shipments and dealing with shipping lines
- Proficient with logistics software and digital tools (e.g., ERP systems, Microsoft Office)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
