Assistant Centre Manager

This permanent role is employed by the company within a flexible workspace building working with a client on a flex contract for them. The client is a London-centric investor and developer who are passionate about architecture and space for occupiers.

The Assistant Centre Manager will be front of house and will assist the Centre Manager in ensuring that the companies that occupy this flexible workspace building in Blackfriars receive a professional, and personalised level of service. The ACM will report to the Centre Manager and will also be responsible for the reception team. You will also be involved in hosting and managing regular events. The desired candidate will also have a background in flexi workspace buildings

The objective of job:

The objective of this job is to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, building a strong sense of community to the point where our occupiers would never think of moving to a competitor's building.

The Assistant centre manager will be the main point of contact for occupiers, ensuring the delivery of smooth day-to-day operations and going above and beyond the needs of the occupiers. You will oversee the layout and dressing of the offices, ensuring that any vacant offices are kept in a 'show room' condition, like you would expect in a five-star hotel. You will work with the onsite team to keep all areas of the building in a clean and presentable condition and provide our occupiers with an impeccable place to work.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure all occupiers and their visitors, are treated in a friendly, professional and courteous manner.
  • Respond to any customer queries or complaints in a timely and efficient way.
  • Monitor customer feedback and recommend adjustments to operations to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Have pride in the building and ensure it presents as well as possible at all times.
  • Foster positive relationships with occupiers and encourage a feeling of community within the building through day-to-day interactions and the curating and managing of regular events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with occupiers, understanding their needs and gaining their feedback, both positive and negative.
  • Take guidance from the Centre Manager, and wider on-site team and implement any changes promptly

Required skillset:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with occupiers, and staff members.
  • Relevant experience of customer service, preferably in services/managed workspace or related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Assisting the Centre Manager in hosting events for occupiers- previous events experience desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs. (Previous use of the Office RnD platform would be desirable but not essential)
  • Previous experience working in flexible workspace buildings
