Location: Flexible, ideally Burton/Daventry/Manchester

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 + £7,000 car allowance

HSE Recruitment Network are recruiting for a Project Coordinator, with the opportunity to represent a forward-thinking, global logistics company.

The role will be focused on supporting the UK operational teams in areas that include Quality, Environmental , Energy control, maintenance, and audit support, completing productivity and profit analysis, continuous improvement initiatives and project implementation management

Main Responsibilities:

Quality

  • General Administrative maintenance of the Quality files, processes, and procedures
  • Liaison with the Hellmann UK external consultant on quality requirements regarding audit scheduling, strategy meetings and non-conformance completion plans
  • Liaison with internal managers regarding their quality responsibilities to include monitoring and support advice regarding quality requirements and techniques for fulfillment.
  • Control and upkeep of quality documentation to ISO requirements
  • Maintain and review the Quality Management system, approved supplier list and operational procedures in conjunction with operational management and the General Manager Operational Support
  • Evaluation of completed questionnaires for new suppliers on the approved supplier list.

Project Management

  • Support project teams
  • Project management of identified projects
  • Support operational managers to understand and implement project management tools to ensure a smooth delivery of relevant projects

Business Development/ Financial Strategies and Plans

  • Help operational managers identify potential operational improvements or initiatives and create a robust process for monitoring and controlling performance and delivery in support of the Operational Support General Manager
  • Maintain reports regarding performance and activity
  • Provide adequate statistical reports to allow General Manager Operational Support to feedback performance accurately to the Board
  • Control measure reporting and monitoring including all bridges against previous year and budget as required
  • Analyse and assess areas of potential Business Development interest
  • Support analysis and challenge financial positions and cost spends
  • Maintain an understanding of elements of restructuring such as cost control sign off and raise any identified issues or concerns with General Manager Operational Support
  • Help to initiate and deliver Change in the UK operation
  • Help drive Change projects
  • Help maintain Change programme momentum
  • Support senior UK management as required
  • Support and lead as required, measure and project review meetings

IT

  • Help and support on IT and system initiatives outside the remit of the central IT team such as RPA, OCR and other initiatives.

Essential Experience, Training and Qualifications:

  • Experience of working in a logistics environment desirable but not essential
  • Project management experience desirable not essential
  • Ability using complex reporting and management tools
  • Excel spreadsheet creation and manipulation experience
  • Understanding, and use of SOPs
  • Understanding of audit and ISO processes desirable but not essential
  • Administrative experience
