Business Development Manager UK & Europe

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is hiring on behalf of their client a Business Development Manager for the UK and Europe (medical device | industrial sectors | injection moulding |contract manufacturing). This position allows for remote or hybrid work, you can be based anywhere in the UK or near the UK office in Mountain Ash, Mid Glamorgan, Wales. If you choose to work fully remotely, you will be required to visit the UK office on occasion.

The annual salary is £50,000 - £75,000 PA + Bonus + Car Allowance. The working hours are office hours 37.5 Monday-Friday.

Our client is a manufacturer of precision injection moulded plastics, they have evolved into a global Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) and contract manufacturer of complex assemblies. Today, they serve a diverse range of customers across various sectors, including data centres, automotive, energy, healthcare, and general industrial/consumer markets worldwide. They specialise in injection moulding for the medical device, industrial, and data centre markets.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our Sales function, driving business growth through the implementation of effective business and sales strategies. You will report directly to the Managing Director and have the flexibility to work remotely or from our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead our marketing strategy
  • Drive pipeline growth in strategic markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals
  • Close orders within the required timeframe
  • Meet or exceed annual sales targets
  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure seamless execution of new projects

Experience, attributes & skills sought:

  • Experience in the medical device and/or industrial sectors
  • Familiarity with injection moulding and contract manufacturing
  • Ability to read and understand customer RFQ/URS documentation
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
  • High standard of written and verbal communication, with a confident and professional manner
  • Customer-focused, with a can-do and agile attitude
  • Natural sales approach with a technical mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
