We are excited to welcome a dedicated and skilled Modern Foreign Languages teacher to our team in Preston. This role offers a unique chance to captivate and inspire students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Your daily compensation will range from £155 to £230, reflecting your experience, qualifications, and teaching proficiency.

In this role, you'll create an engaging classroom environment, develop lesson plans, assess student progress, and inspire a love for languages and cultures. We're looking for someone committed to helping students succeed and collaborating with colleagues to achieve school goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
  • Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
  • Having control over the whole class and maintaining discipline
  • Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
  • Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
  • Set homework and mark promptly
  • Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
  • Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum
  • Punctual and reliable

Preferred Skills:

  • Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
  • Strong classroom management
  • Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
  • Use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience

Personal Attributes:

  • You will have a genuine passion for teaching
  • Experience up to key stage 3/4
  • QTS/PGCE equivalent
  • Be flexible and committed
