Managing Surveyor
covering North East England to help us shape the future of the residential surveying industry.

Qualifying Criteria for a Managing Surveyor
- Assoc RICS (minimum 2 years post-qualification), MRICS or FRICS
- Registered Valuer with RICS or eligible
- Post-qualification experience in buy-to-let, leasehold and HMO is preferred but not essential
- Ability to demonstrate leadership, problem- solving and effective communication skills
Key Responsibilities of a Managing Surveyor
- Encouraging high performance and cultivating a culture of success whilst being consistently mindful of the needs and well-being of your people whilst balancing the business operational objectives.
- Delegating professional responsibility amongst your team especially utilising the skills and knowledge of Area Surveyors in the region.
- Auditing of level 2 surveys and practical on-site observation as well as auditing valuation reports and SCTs.
- Undertake quality audit activities and monitor the effectiveness of audit processes compliance with CWS, Lender and RICS requirements. To provide effective risk mitigation and quality controls for CWS to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Have a high regard to risk and be able to fully use the supporting Management Information provided and teams around you to mitigate this aspect.
