Part-Time Family Chef
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 GPA
Location: West London
Hours:
- Monday - Thursday: 3pm - 7pm
- Friday: 12pm - 8.30pm (flexibility required for weekends and occasional travel)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Part-Time Family Chef to join a warm and busy household, providing nutritious and healthy dinners for 6 people. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled cook / chef who is passionate about creating balanced, family-friendly meals while managing the kitchen independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cooking evening meals: Prepare healthy, nutritious dinners Monday to Friday.
- Friday extended shift: Prepare meals for the family's weekend and Friday evening dinners, sometimes with guests.
- Menu planning: Collaborate with the family on meal planning and food shopping.
- Kitchen management: Take control of the kitchen, ensuring it is kept clean, organised, and stocked. Monitor expiry dates and handle deep cleaning duties.
- Occasional dinner parties: Cook for informal, larger dinners.
What We're Looking For:
- A confident and creative chef / cook, capable of preparing fresh, nutritious meals for young children and adults.
- Excellent time management and kitchen organisation skills.
- Ability to independently plan, shop for, and prepare meals in line with family preferences.
- A proactive and flexible approach, willing to work extra hours during busy periods, including weekends if necessary.
- Experience in catering for small groups and the ability to prepare meals in advance.
