Position: Specialist Support Worker - Tenancy Sustainment Officer
Location: Guildford, Mole Valley District Council
Salary: £13.79 per hour
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (Flexibility required based on tenant support needs)
About the Role:
Mole Valley District Council is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Officer to join our team in Guildford. As a Specialist Support Worker - Tenancy Sustainment Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting tenants to maintain their tenancies and live independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist support to tenants to help sustain their tenancies.
- Conduct regular visits and assessments to identify and address tenant needs.
- Develop and implement support plans tailored to individual tenant requirements.
- Liaise with external agencies and services to coordinate additional support.
- Offer advice and guidance on housing-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all interactions and support provided.
Requirements:
- A valid driving license and access to your own car.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of tenants.
- Previous experience in a similar role or within the housing sector is desirable.
