Electrical Engineer

Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm

The company:

Working for a leading manufacturer who specialises in the design, development and manufacturing of specialist technology for the construction of bridges, power stations, offshore structures, manufacturing plants and more.
Due to continued work and a range of upcoming projects, the team are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer, ideally with design knowledge, to join their team in Rushden.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Design & Develop-Electrical control systems for heavy lifting equipment
  • Create and work to electrical and control system specifications
  • Conduct studies for new equipment designs
  • Install, commission, test and operate equipment in the workshop and on customer sites.
  • Performing routine maintenance on equipment

This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Relevant engineering qualification- I.E bachelor's degree
  • Experience with 400v AC Power circuits and 24DC control circuits.
  • Experience in electrical design (AutoCAD, EPLAN or similar)
  • Strong understanding of electrical proficiencies
  • Good health & safety knowledge
