Immunisation Nurse

Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse/Practice Nurse
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months
Working Pattern: Part-time, 2 days per month, 9am to 5pm (7.5 hours per day)
Location: London, SW5

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Immunisation Scrutiny: Assess and review vaccination status for healthcare workers, both EPP (Exposure Prone Procedures) and NEPP (Non-Exposure Prone Procedures).
  • Vaccination Delivery: Administer occupational health vaccinations, including Hep B, MMR, and varicella.
  • Venepuncture: Perform venepuncture procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Administrative Tasks: Utilise customised software, Outlook, and MS Teams for computer work.

Essential Skills:

  • Qualified RGN: Registered General Nurse with experience in delivering occupational health vaccinations within the last 12 months.
  • Venepuncture Proficiency: Competent in performing venepuncture.
  • Current Certifications: Up-to-date with Basic Life Support (BLS), anaphylaxis and immunisations.
  • Commitment: Willing to undertake a 2-week induction/training from home.
