NEW POSITION -
My clients a well established Aerospace Warehouse Manager- required for permanent positions based within the Heathrow area.
Duties would include:
- Overseeing the smooth running of warehouse operative
- Managing a team of 4+ operatives
- Picking and packing of AOG parts
- Ensuring orders are dispatched within a timely manner
- Inspecting goods
- Recording and reporting any damages
- Liaising with clients on a daily basis
- Forklift truck driving
- HR- recruiting and training staff
- Quality insurance
- Inventory control
- Maintain internal quality procedures for team
- Internal and external audits to ensure compliance in line with HMRC/UK Government regulations
- Monitoring all health and safety within the warehouse
- Reporting to the general manager
Skills required:
- Experience within a similar role
- AEROSPACE experience!
- PC literate
- Experience using quantum system
- Strong leadership skills
- Valid forklift licence- preferred
- Experience using system Quantum control -essential
- ISO/QA qualification
Working hours:
- Monday- Friday 0800-1700 plus on call 1in5 ( OT paid)
