Customer Interaction - Campaign Lead

As a Customer Interaction Team Leader, you'll be responsible for ensuring our strategic vision is well understood across your team and will support your team in translating their ideas into reality. You'll ensure that the systems and processes within your area of responsibility are as effective as possible and, as part of this, you'll be relied on to ensure an efficient and co-operative working environment where everyone's performing to the best of their ability.

Your main goal is to keep your team motivated and driven with your positive, can-do attitude. You'll have plenty of freedom to use your initiative and drive change in order to make the department even more efficient. As a fantastic communicator, you'll strike up positive relationships with your manager, who will rely on your knowledge and expertise to make well-informed business decisions.

Our fantastic Brands & Campaigns team are accountable for maintaining all campaigns from conception through to execution, as well as ensuring the strategic and creative integrity of the Aldi brand. You'll work closely with the Channels & Delivery teams to ensure that the campaign execution delivers to the original brief, agreed creative and is delivered consistently across all channels.

As a Campaign Lead, you'll be an integral part of the team, responsible for delivering campaign creatives and working with our Channels & Delivery team to ensure that the delivery of your campaigns really hits the spot! Your New Role:

  • Lead campaign planning, including target setting and review of plan accuracy and performance
  • Lead campaign management of both planned and ad-hoc campaigns
  • Work with our National Buying teams to select the right products to feature through your campaigns
  • Review and select creative ideas and media plans from partner agencies / internal teams
  • Oversee strategic and creative campaign activity from briefing through to execution
  • Own the campaign budget and be responsible for campaigns' overall return on investment
  • Deliver regular and concise campaign updates to key stakeholders

About You:

  • This role requires a candidate with significant experience in supporting in the Developing and sustaining a business culture of efficiency, control, and effectiveness across the team
  • Championing the brand purpose and consistent delivery against our brand values and guidelines
  • Overseeing end-to-end delivery of the whole campaign, from planning through to execution
  • Optimising campaign briefing activities to ensure key messages are delivered and KPIs are met
  • KPI monitoring and reporting
  • Working closely with the Channels & Delivery and Customer Insights teams
  • Managing relationships with agencies and partners responsible for Aldi's iconic campaigns
  • Building strong relationships with cross-functional and international teams to continuously improve marketing strategy
  • Experience of annual marketing campaign planning
  • Experience of the management of campaigns across a range of channels and in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in defining key messaging and KPIs
  • Experience of working in teams and with technology to optimise the development and delivery of world class marketing
  • Marketing channels (e.g. TV, Social etc.) for mass market and targeted campaigns
  • Briefing agencies, developing marketing activity and/or being part of the agency brief and approval process
  • Confident in using MS Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc.
  • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and build relationships with internal stakeholders and third parties at all levels
  • Strong multitasker, used to working in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt approach dependent upon the needs of the business
  • Preferably experience with Adobe and/or Salesforce Marketing Clouds
  • Preferably experience managing agency relationships and/or managing large retail accounts within an agency
  • Project management skills
  • Experience of campaign planning within a FMCG environment

What you'll Get In Return:

  • Salary starting £46,345 rising to £50,870
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working5 weeks' annual leave plus Bank H
