A dynamic and supportive small multi-disciplinary consultancy in Wales is seeking an experienced Principal Designer to join their team.
The successful Principal Designer will play a key role in ensuring the safety and compliance of a variety of exciting projects across multiple sectors.

The successful Principal Designer will
- Provide expert advice on health and safety and CDM compliance to clients, designers, and contractors.
- Manage the pre-construction phase, including the preparation of pre-construction information and design risk assessments.
- Lead and facilitate CDM workshops and contribute to the development of design safety strategies.
- Work on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial and public sector developments.
- Ensure all projects comply with CDM regulations and promote best practices in design risk management.
To be considered for the role of Principal Designer, candidates should have
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role within a consultancy environment.
- A strong background in construction design and management, with specific experience in delivering Principal Designer services.
- NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
- Membership in a relevant professional body, such as IOSH or APS.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
