The Role...
We are looking for statatory accounts technical expert who can act as ambassador of the brand helping to attract new clients and maintain existing ones so that the department's growth plans can be met. Day to day you will be overseeing all client preparations, to ensure accuracy, compliance and deadlines are met.
You will have strong collaboration skills and enjoy working with others to actively seek opportunities to continuously improve internal processes, ensuring we achieve the highest standards of client service.
With experience post qualification, you will have worked in a practice environment for at least some of your career. You will be responsible for a small team at varying qualification level and career stage. Your client portfolio will be a variety of Owner Managers, Tech Start-ups, Tech industry in general, amongst others.

The Candidate...
ACCA/ACA ICAEW qualified.
- Expert level of understanding and experience of preparation of annual statutory accounts under FRS 105, FRS102 (1a), LLP Accounts and Charity Accounts, to the highest standard.
- Significant experience post qualification (5 years+) and in a practice environment.
- Technical expert but with the ability to explain complex terms to non-specialists.
- Line management or supervisory experience.
- Good working knowledge of accounting software and CRM systems.
- Good general knowledge of UK tax legislation.
- Up to date knowledge and understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and GDPR regulations.
- Strong organisation skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- UK driving licence and access to own transport.
- The right to work in the UK is a requirement.
This role can be based nationally but will include regular travel to our offices in Cranfield near Milton Keynes and surrounding areas as part of a hybrid working model. Full UK driving licence required.
