About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic 2nd Line Support Engineer to join this forward-thinking company based in Portsmouth. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for Windows Server infrastructure support, including networking and virtualization. You'll also play a pivotal role in our cloud-focused projects, leveraging the full spectrum of the Microsoft 365 tech stack.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-tier 2nd line support to our diverse client base.
- Manage and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
- Tackle networking issues with ease, including DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
- Get hands-on with virtualization technologies.
- Drive cloud initiatives, focusing on the Microsoft 365 suite (SharePoint, Teams, Azure, Intune, etc.).
- Collaborate with project teams to implement and support innovative solutions.
- Mentor and support 1st line engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Solid experience in 2nd line support.
- Proficiency in Windows Server infrastructure and networking.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware, etc.).
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Azure, Teams, and Intune.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
