Admin/Events Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Admin/Events Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support and coordinating events to ensure their seamless execution. This role involves a blend of administrative duties, event planning, and logistical coordination, requiring a high degree of organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

v Manage daily office operations and provide administrative support to the team.

v Maintain and organise files, databases, and correspondence.

v Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications.

v Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

Event Coordination

v Plan, organise and execute events, including conferences, workshops, seminars, and corporate functions.

v Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation.

v Liaise with vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure successful event delivery.

v Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Communication and Marketing:

v Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional materials and event communications.

v Update and maintain event-related content on the company's website and social media platforms.

v Coordinate event registration and attendee communication.

Post-Event Activities

v Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.

v Prepare event reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

v 2+ years of experience in administrative support and/or event coordination.

v Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

v Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
