You will work for an award-winning family business based in Donegal. They have appointed Hays to recruit a Customs Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent, office-based position. Hours of work are 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Your new role
As Customs Administrator, you will be required to monitor & record stock levels and the movement of products through the manufacturing, packaging and despatch processes in accordance with Customs & Excise Regulations. In your role, you will be responsible for managing the relevant Customs & Excise records, preparing the monthly Customs & Excise returns, processing haulage invoices, dealing with enquiries efficiently, liaising with dispatch, warehouse and haulage teams and general administration tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
As Customs Administrator, you will have a good standard of education. You must be competent in Microsoft Suite and have experience using Excel, be highly numerate and work with accuracy and precision within a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
