Senior Credit Controller - Berkshire - Manufacturing & Design
Savant is proud to be supporting a leading manufacturing and design business in their search for an experienced Credit Controller with previous experience of working in a busy department with strong communication skills, who can hit the ground running.
Reporting into the Managing Director, the Senior Credit Controller will help to ensure the company operates an efficient sales ledger policy in line with the company's terms and conditions of business in order tomaximize customer sales and minimise debts.

Skills/Experience
- At least 3+ years credit control experience, working in a similar or senior role
- Enjoys having responsibility for the whole credit control function, making the right decisions and always looking for improvements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Good understanding of financial statements of customers and use of credit safe information to make the right decisions
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills and ability to handle difficult customers or situations effectively
- Good customer service skills internally and externally
- Able to work through problems alone,takes responsibility and prioritises workload to meet deadlines
- Able to adopt a 'can do' attitude and use own initiative to get the job done
- Works well under pressure with good attention to detail
- Good management and coaching skills tooptimise performance and bring out the best in a person
- Experience with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and Teams
